The Jesuit Institute is an institute at Boston College that promotes research and collaborative activities that address issues at the intersection of faith and culture and that promote the Catholic and Jesuit character of Boston College. It was established in 1988 and was initially funded by the Jesuit community at Boston College. The current director is Father T. Frank Kennedy. It is housed in the Faber House at Boston College and is located on College Road, close to Gasson Hall and the Bapst Library. The Ignatian Wiki was started while Dr. John P. Workman, Jr. was on sabbatical from Creighton University as a visiting fellow at the Jesuit Institute in the 2005-2006 academic year.
