The 7:30 Sunday Service is attended by about 250-300 people each Sunday. The parishioners who attend are largely, but not exclusively, young adults. From September to May, a Sunday Social is held every other Sunday in Wallace Hall under the Church after the 7:30 service. The Sunday Social is run by the Ignatian Young Adults.
The St. Vincent de Paul Society in the parish is one of the more active ministries. Among its activities are:
- a monthly Soup Kitchen run in collaboration with other synagogues and Protestant churches in the area. St. Ignatius runs the Soup Kitchen on the 3rd Sunday of every month.
- Homeless shelter every other Sunday from September to May
- Annual Senior Luncheon
- Numerous Blood Drives for the NY Blood Center
The Parish Hospitality Ministry is also quite active. The Ministry staffs all Saturday and Sunday Masses. Hospitality volunteers greet parishioners, hand out worship material, organize the Collection and hand out bulletins as parishioners depart.
Recently, the Parish, in a collaborative effort, completed a massive fund-raising campaign where $7.8 million was raised to build up the endowment. The current endowment stands at $3 million.
The most recent Pastor was Father Gerald R. Blaszczak, SJ. The prior Pastor was Fr. Walter Modrys, SJ.
