A Jesuit community is a group of Jesuits who live in community with each other. Jesuit communities may be the same as a Jesuit residence, if all the members of the community live in the same residence facility. However, for some of the larger Jesuit commities, they may live in a number of different residences. For example, in the 2008-2009 academic year, there were 91 Jesuits that were members of the Jesuit community at Boston College. The majority of these live in St. Mary's Hall, but some also live in other Jesuit residences such as Barat House, Roberts House, and Ricci House.
