From Ignatian Wiki
This is a second level category for the Jesuit assistancies around the world. Jesuit communities and apostolic works are organized first into a province and then the provinces are organized into assistancy by geographic region. The assistancies are governed by the provincials from each province in the region and by a President of the assistancy. For example, in the United States there are ten provinces, they are part of the U.S. assistancy called The Jesuit Conference, and it is governed by the ten U.S. provincials and by the President of the Jesuit Conference.
Individual provinces should be categorized by name of the assistancy to which they belong. Individual parishes, retreat centers, educational institutions, and social ministries associated with a given province should be categorized by type of institution and by province name, but should not be put into an assistancy.
